My Fair Moments Due!!!
Unsocial, Alone and Disdain…
My life was awheel this painstaking ride…
Didn’t know to repress this unceasing pain…
Everything sounded like a deafening gride…
It was a “being” that was damned…
Waiting eyes that turned crimson…
Anticipating something to be redeemed…
For what I waited, I had no reason…
Every moment seemed like an epic…
This twinge never looked to redress…
This carnage looped in an unending lyric…
I almost lost it, I must confess…
It so happened in this state of mind...
I saw a crippled smiling at me...
While begging alms for his life's grind...
This shook me to an infinite degree...
I was taken aback by his smile…
Holding his family next to him…
Clutching his crutches to stand, once in a while…
Never was for a moment grim…
With a second gaze at the beggar…
I came to realize…
To make my life bigger…
There’s nothing to loose or jeopardize…
My pursuit for a euphoric survival…
Had to nag my courage alive…
I realized life’s delay is not its denial…
And to fight every peril in its drive…
My repentance turned to aspiration…
And started to hope as I knew…
That hope brings dreams to realization…
And life still has my fair moments due…
